Magnolia Leaders Scholarship
This scholarship is named in honor of our Founder's grandmother, Magnolia Spencer who was a staunch supporter of women and minorities in the legal profession.

Eligibility Requirements

Attends or recently graduated from a College or University in Madison County, Alabama

Admitted to Law School for Fall 2025

Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Timely submission of Scholarship Essay and Application by April 30, 2025

Ms. Holbert completed her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law at Oakwood University in 2023. Pariss serves as a 1L Honor Board Representative who hears honor code and policy infractions of law students.

Ms. Holbert continues to advocate for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Her goal is to enter Healthcare Law. ​​

Peris Munene

Ms. Munene completed her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law with a minor in International Business at Oakwood University in 2023.

​While at Notre Dame, Peris has begun working with the Notre Dame Exoneration Clinic whose mission is to correct the miscarriage of justice and overturn wrongful convictions.
